Winter Garden...SNOW !

Across the back garden.

Along the fence Red twigged dogwood is growing nicely. The holly are slow and do not show up as much as we would have liked. Maybe another evergreen or two would help. The oakleaf hydrangea look so small compared with the dense growth of summer.

Coneflowers, switchgrass and perennial sunflowers (which should get much bigger next year).

Threadleaf coreopsis.

A snow covered oakleaf hydreangea bloom hanging on through winter.

Compost bin and brush pile along side the christmas tree, providing cover for wildlife until spring.

Behind the garage another woodpile and discarded tree. This one provided by our daughter.
